MATERIAL: #4 hard drawn copper wire
APPLICATION: For protecting conductor hardware from overload surge voltage. Establishes critical 2” air gap between the pole top pin and ground wire on 14.4/24.9KV, single phase RUS construction. Can be
used with the grounded guy, insulated guy or unguyed poles. After installation, the arcing horn should be bent to the proper angle to provide a 2” gap.
